Dear Arun's family,

I am so sorry and so shocked to hear of Arun's accidental death in Beijing. I have met him on several occasions since the start of the academic year at Tsinghua and have always found him to be an amazing person. He was witty, smart and ambitious, especially in pursuing his dream of becoming a stand up comic. And most of all, he was a really good friend to all those who knew him here. From a relative in Ohio...I was very sorry to hear of this news. While I only met you one time, I could sense then you were going to be someone very special in the world.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.

What a bright shining star! Arun continues to shine in the sky, and fortunate are all whose hearts he touched in his young fulfilled life.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Sunita, Tony and Ravi.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. God Bless You.

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.
