Not sure what to say?

My favorite memory of Uncle Arvid is filled with gratitude. When my father Lloyd Greeley was in hospice care, Arvid came to visit. With as much confidence as that the sun would rise the next morning, Arvid talked to my father that he would be in Heaven soon, as we all will be at some time. The peace and comfort I saw on my father's face is a memory I will treasure. Thank you, Uncle Arvid, for your ministry and friendship given to my father.

Peace and grace to you until that day you meet again.

He was a great man and raised a wonderful, loving, and caring son. He was proud of you and you of him and the beautiful part is that even though you may have disagreed on points, you still respected each other and I know you honored your dad, he loved you and he knew without a doubt that you loved him. Happy birthday Dad. Love you.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ARVID:

May you have many more with your maker.

So "over-used" the saying of 'thoughts and prayers' so, I shall say, "Inner private meditation for your off-spring."

A Good Man leaves his legacy that lives on and indeed, you did just that.

That is a picture of character. Arvid ran a summer camp for pre-teen and early-teen kids in northern Wisconsin in the 1950's - I remember him bringing down the room in laughter as he MC'd a talent show, and leaving the same kids silent and still for minutes after closing an evening vespers service. Godspeed Reverend Gullerud.
