So sorry to read passing of Dr Burks. My prayers for his family during this time. As one of his students and later a Graduate Student I had many occasions to visit with Dr Burks and have him as one of my Instructors. UCA was very fortunate to have such an individual on staff. Soft spoken and mild mannered he was a credit to the teaching profession, an outstanding instructor and human being. God Bless the Burks family.
