Not sure what to say?

Another Hilhi class of '59 alum sending my thoughts and prayers to Arvin's family and friends. I wasn't close to Arvin, but I knew and liked him. Sad to hear of his passing.

Sincerely,
Coleen (Harty) Summerill

i PRAY FOR HIM

I lived next door to the Meyer family in Farmington and picked strawberries and beans each summer at their place. I have lost contact with the family and was surprised and saddened to see Arvin's obiturary in the paper. Please convey my condolences to Darrel, Eldon and Joyce.

Jan and family, so sorry to hear about Arvin's death. I am a cousin from Nebraska - Rhoda and my father Edgar were siblings.

Jan and Family. Arvin and I were roommates at PLU. He truly loved life and had great sense of humor. We had a great time! He was so proud when he took me to his folks' place in Hillsbourgh for a long weekend. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.

Being a classmate of Arvins I am sadden by his death. I never really got to know him until some of our classmates went on a cruise to celebrate our 50th class reunion ,and a couple clam digging trips we went on . He was the cook in preparing the clams. I am sadden I never got to know him sooner and do things with him. I will miss him a lot. Joe Kosmalski Class of 59.

Dearest Jan and family. Our love and prayers fold around you at this time of loss and grief. So glad to call you both "friend". Love, Mike & Lynn Reaves

Arvin will be sorely missed by his friends and family. He deeply loved his family, and our thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time.

I only knew Arvin as Mr. Meyer or Wendy's dad. I have many fond memories of him at the farm and later at their current house. Mr. Meyer will be greatly missed. I will miss his soft spoken voice, his wonderful welcomed smile, and his amazing ways to fix and build things. Heaven is lucky to have him.
