Dear Joan and family: I am so sorry for your loss. He was the greatest person I ever worked for. I'll never forget his compassion toward poor people ... he made veterinary medicine affordable for every critter in need, and he was the best bone surgeon (orthopedics specialist) people could get for those fracture mishaps in the animal world. I'll always regret having left the clinic and trading my good veterinary job there for a manufacturing plant one (I needed the benefit package) but...

You may not remember me. I own Country Kennel Pet Care in Milan and provided services to the clinic from 1975 until Arwyn retired. I always enjoyed the sometimes lengthy chats with him and you. I remember him as a kind and gracious man with a ready smile and a sense of humor that was always ready for action. I missed seeing him after he retired.

My brother Mike and myself are very sorry to hear the news of mr Carrs passing. We grew up with his younger sons and spent many a day at their household having a good time. We will keep john and the rest of the family in our prayers and thoughts. John and Mike Maynard
