Not sure what to say?

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un I'm so sad to learn that my long-term (now long-retired) colleague Asad Khailany has passed away. I learned so much from Asad about Kurdish rights, Kurdish history and Kurdish business people throughout the Kurdish diaspora.

Dear Family,

Dr.Khailany was my professor for two computer classes back in the spring of 78 and fall of 79. As someone who struggled in this study, he was patient and willing with his time to help after class. I ran into him at a gas station perhaps 10 years after graduation,he remembered me and we shared a smile for a brief moment. What a good man he was, with a long lifetime of good works. Prayers and kind thoughts for his loved ones.

I did not know Prof. Khailany, but I have great sympathy for the Kurdish struggle for a homeland. I salute him! May he rest in peace. My deepest condolences to his family.
