Dearest friend, I will so miss you and your beautiful heart, but we are all together in spirit. I know many people felt this, but you are one of my best friends, and I have been thinking of you often. I had hoped to have one more 'hang' with you. Dakota, Shanti, Aurora, and Savitri, I was shocked and saddened to read of your mother's death. I remember being with her at FOCUS and having her care for my father when he was in UVA hospital during his last months. She was always a wise and generous presence, a person I wish I had known better. Our daughters were friends and she brought a special intuitive knowing to our gatherings. She was a rare woman who will be greatly missed.

I had the pleasure of working with Asher at UVA. She was a wonderful Nurse and a delightful person. A pleasure to be around.
