Not sure what to say?

I grew up next door to Asher. He never went by Asher. He liked to be called Sandy. Although he was a few years older than me, he was always like a kind older brother to me. I genuinely enjoyed his company and he shielded be from harm like the big brother I never had. He was a great guy!

Even though we lost contact over the years, always thought about you and will never forget you.
Your old college roommate
Steve (Schus) Schuster

My grandparents, Woody and Verna Horn were not only friends of the Abel, but coworkers and neighbors. My entire childhood, we had picnics every Sundays in the summer at the Horns. We would swim at the Horn´s pool and then walk down to the picnic area. Which was very close to the Abel´s home and pool. There were only 5 children at these picnics, so we always played together. I have many fond memories of Asher, who we called "Sandy." I am so sorry for your loss and will be praying for...

Michele and Lauren, May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times. We had some great times together. Asher had a great laugh and we will always remember the "Asher Look".

My deepest condolences. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

My deepest condolences to Michele, Lauren and families. Asher was truly a wonderful person who was so kind and considerate. He will be missed by many. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow

Michele and Lauren, Sending you my deepest sympathies in such a tragic loss. Asher was a great person whose humor was very much appreciated at STA. I pray for strength for you all at this time. Rest in peace Asher

Michele and family, I send my deepest condolences to you all, at this difficult time. (I have many fond memories of Asher, all through grade school, at Washington Twp, and high school.) May all the warm and loving memories of Asher help to fill the deep hole in your hearts. Terri Hildenbrand Brescancine

Michele and family, I am very sorry for your loss. I enjoyed working with Asher at the bus company. He was quiet until you got him going. Then his laugh was contagious, and he could be a real character. He blushed like no one else. Hold onto those happy memories. Sending prayers. RIP Asher
