Asher was an unforgettable fellow teacher. Loved his sense of humor.

A wonderful teacher and a wonderful caring man. Always had a smile and a sense of humor. May you rest in peace Mr. Halbleib, in knowing you touched a lot of people's lives in this short time on earth.

What is there to say about a man who was one of the guiding forces in my life for twenty years? I first came to know him as my seventh grade math teacher in March of 1968. I had just returned from three years in Germany, and he made me feel welcome in a new school surrounded by mostly new schoolmates. I became involved in performing arts the next year, and Mr. Halbleib directed me and my fellow student performers in numerous dramas, comedies and musicals, including three iterations of...

I had Mr. Halblqeib as a math teacher and as a director when I assisted with stage crew and other various tasks with the performing arts while in school. Thank you for all you did for the students of the Middletown Area School District.

Mr Hallbleib was a great teacher my son, Gary Breshers (deceased) spoke of often. He will welcome him in heaven to be sure. Rita

Many times have I thought of this man over the years, particularly in my work. Beyond a great person with a wicked sense of humor, he defined for me hard, aggressive, relentless work ethic; careful and thoughtful precision; the richness of a...

Condolences to the Halbleib family and friends. Mr. Halbleib was, without a doubt, one of the finest teachers the Middletown Area School District has ever had.
