Ashley Nichole Chapman, 25, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023. She was born in Newport News, Va. and was a life long resident of Gloucester. She was an avid archer.
  She was preceded in death by her grandmother Lorena Cooke and is survived by her parents Shelia M. McKinney and Jeff Chapman, step father Larry McKinney, grandparents John and Mary Chapman, her boy friend, Isaac Whitacre, and her favorite kitty, Baby.
  A celebration of Ashley's life will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester, Va. Memorial donations may be made to the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society.
