From Ashley's healthcare team at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, we send our thoughts and prayers. Ashley had such a sweet spirit, and even when facing days full of medical and surgical visits, she was always thinking of others, giving gifts, and lifting up everyone around her. I will always remember her chocolate and how much that matched her personality - sweet, tender, and with an essence that was unique and lovely.

Darla and Glen may God bless you in this time of sorrow.

Darla and Glenn, my condolences and prayers to you in the loss of your daughter, Ashley. I recall a little girl with bright eyes who loved horses those years ago when you attended Christ Lutheran Church..

I was so saddened to learn of Ashley's passing. She was a very unique person and one of a few students that I can recall quite vividly, fondly, and with a smile. Condolences and prayers.

We always enjoyed having Ashley and Glenn out to ur place to fish. Ashley's smile and grace were unbeatable!

Ashley was one of the loveliest people I've ever known. She will always be in our hearts.

My little Angel

One of my favorite photos of Ashley. She will always be a part of us. Now that she is in Gods caring hands she can ride all the horses her heart desires.

Dear Darla and Glenn, I am so sorry to hear of the beautiful daughter you lost. She is in sweet peace and no pain. Please know your family is in our prayers. So Much Love,, Skip, Jacque and Justin Gelwick
