Not sure what to say?

Carol, Mary and Merritt, so sorry to see your Dad's passing. I cannot believe he was 100. He and your mother were such a good friends to Mom and Dad. After Dad died he always came to see Mom when she was in Lincoln. That era has gone from us , but we were blessed to have such parents and friends. God be with you all at this difficult time.

Love and prayers for each of you: Carol, Mary, Merritt and extended families. What a truly kind and gentle soul our Uncle Ashley was; an inspiration to so many. I have precious and wonderful memories of our family times together in Lincoln. My deepest sympathy to all.

We feel privileged to have known Ashely and to have had him as a dinner guest once in our home. What a pleasure he was to visit and talk with! He is a true example to us of God's abiding love throughout a long and fulfilled life. His great outreach over the years to countless souls revealing God's love to them through the example of his own life is truly inspirational and encouraging to us who are yet on the journey. His wonderful family and his impact in the community will remain a living...

Gary and I were saddened to hear of Uncle Ashley's passing. I have such fond memories of my soft spoken uncle. He was a kind man whose eyes sparkled when he smiled. What a wonderful legacy he is leaving behind. We are truly a blessed family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all as you go through this sad time.

Lovingly,

Keith & I are so sorry to hear of Uncle Ashley's passing. We had some wonderful visits when he stopped to see us when selling seeds in the summer. The obituary is beautiful, and we love you very much. We are praying for all of you! Love, Keith & Amelia McKenzie

I had the great pleasure of seeing Ashley at his summer place near Castine over the last 10 years. He remembered I was a student of his from the 50's. He was very sharp.

My prayers are with your family during this time. I'm thankful to have been able to meet him. How blessed we are to have the promise of the Resurrection!

My sincere sympathy to the entire Webster family. Mr. Webster was my teacher and principal in the eighth grade at Ella P. Burr School in Lincoln. Like Mr. Webster, my chosen career was in education and I have been in schools for forty-one years, currently serving as the Superintendent of Schools in Cape Elizabeth. I will always thank Mr. Webster for his inspiration during those formative years in Lincoln. May he rest in peace.
