Ashlynn-Rogers-Obituary

Ashlynn Louise Rogers

Obituary

Oct. 18, 2000 - Aug. 13, 2006

God blessed us with our dancing angel on Oct. 18, 2000, and the angels took her to be with Him on Aug. 13, 2006.
Asthma took her away from us, but we will always remember those big beautiful eyes and smile and the personality that melted the hearts of everyone she met. She was a daddy's girl and the love of her mother's life. She loved to dance and was a member of Rainbow Dance. She was looking forward to starting kindergarten at Beartooth School this fall. She was a race car fan and loved watching dad and her uncles race at BMP. She also loved her kitties, Bella and J.R.
Ashlynn is survived by her parents, Nicole and Logan Rogers; Grammie and Papa (Dean and Debbie Jensen) of Custer; grandpa George and Michelle Rogers of Helena; honorary grandparents, Tom and Joan Braaton; aunt Meghan Jensen, uncle Chad Rogers, uncle Jace and aunt Amy Rogers; great-grandma, Anna Belle Rogers of Hardin, great-grandparents, Bonnie and Richard Atkins of Columbus, great-grandparents, Evaleen and Francis Kellie of Belgrade; cousins, Tysen, Lindzy, Laramie, Trevor and DaniBeth. She is also survived by her kitties, Bella and J.R. She was preceded in death by Janet Rogers, James Rogers, Chester Jensen and Heather Jensen.
"Dance in heaven, sweet girl, we love you and will miss you forever."
Cremation is planned. Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 18, at Smith West Chapel, 304 34th St. West, off Central. Interment of urn will be at Terrace Gardens Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to American Lung Association of the Northern Rockies, 825 Helena Ave., Helena, MT 59601-3459.

Nikki and Logan,
You must have been so proud of that little girl--she created alot of love-just that kind of kid--and what a sense of humor and wit!! I remember when I took her a giant toy purple raisin--her comment was "Gee Aunt Linda, I really like the raisin, but what I really wanted was a kitty". Gotta love it!! We all were so fortunate to have had the little doll in our lives. Take care guys--Love you--Aunt Linda

For Ashlynn:

Not a day goes by
and I'll never forget,
those big blue eyes
the day we met.
Forever five you'll always be.
A dancer and an angel
who got set free.
We'll meet again
I hope one day,
but for now I can only pray.
Memories I'll have forever more,
until I can knock on Heaven's door.

-I Love U & Miss U So Much Sweet Girl- Love Aunt Meghan

I remember the day Ashlynn was born and we drove down from Helena to visit. Niki and Logan were beaming with happiness. The next few years were filled with fun memories. I am just so glad that I was able to be with Ashlynn two weeks before her death. One of the last things she said to me was, "Sandy.. I'll love you forever.." (this was at the car races.) I will always love Ashlynn and I know she'll always love everyone that was a part of her life. She had such a big heart. Her smile and big...

Logan and Nikki I can't even imagine the pain you two are going through. Ashlynn was very lucky to have you two as parents. She loved her mommy and daddy very much. She also loved the kittens. She always had a smile on her face with those big blue eyes just a sparkling. Now in heaven she can breathe with no problems and be able to dance away all day. We will miss her. If you need anything let us know. You are in our prayers. Sincerely Lacie and T.J.

People are brought into this world to help us grow and learn compassion - some of us are here longer than others. My heart goes out to all those who loved Ashlyn and for those lives she touched. She is now an angel watching over us. Love, Tammi & Jack Evans
