Nancy, I am so sorry about the loss of your son Ashton. My daughter, Cherrie used to give him rides from summer school last year and they sat at the same lunch table at Heritage. He will truly be missed.

Dearest Nancy and family,
My son, Ryan, attended Ashton's funeral and thought it was one of the most spiritual experiences he has had. They were lunch-room buddies who sat at the same table every day. I am writing to let you know that you can call me or e-mail me at any time. We,too, have lost two boys to a car accident recently. We lost our 8-year old baby, Spencer, and 12-year old Kyle. I so understand your pain and anguish. I know the what ifs and "my fault" feelings you are...

Sweet angel, Ashton, Although you have so many people left here that will miss you with every breath they take, you are in God's company now. There are so many loved ones up there who will surround you with love and beauty. I will never see a cloud now without thinking that you are floating on it. Please remember to shine on your mother and all those who love you. I know that when you are around, they will know it. Bless you, sweet boy.

Dear Ashton/Nancy
Please know that my prayers are with you at this very time of profound grief. I hope that you all can take some sense of peace in knowing that you will join him in heaven someday.
