Asimina Milonas

Asimina Milonas, 82, of Scotch Plains, died on Sunday, September 7, 2025 in Sarasota, Florida.  The Visitation will be at the Rossi Funeral Home, Scotch Plains, on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 from 1-3pm & 6-8pm.  The Funeral will be from St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, Union, starting at 11am.  The Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.  

Asimina was born and raised in Andros, Greece.  She came to the United States in 1964, and has lived in Scotch Plains, NJ for the last 35 years.  She was an active member of the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.  Asimina was a loving mother, grandmother, and a devoted Homemaker.  Asimina loved watching her Greek TV shows, cooking for family and friends, and singing.  

Asimina is predeceased by her husband Nikolas in 2006.  She is survived by her son Peter Geogiades and his wifeKathleen; her daughter Markella Takos and her husband Bill; her five grandchildren Alysis, Nicolette, Anthony, Asimina, and Evangelia; her six great-grandchildren; her brother Elia Chrysostratis and his wife Eleni; and her sister Marigoula Pantagis and her husband George.
