Astra Zarina

While a student of Architecture at the University of Washington, Astra lived in our home. She was beautiful, fun, kind and wildly creative. She was a joy and I was lucky to have her as part of my life for those years. I was 11 years old when she received her Bachelor of Architecture.

To Tony, our family, friends and Astra's amazing students I give my heart felt condolences. I like to believe that she is looking upon us with my grandparents, my uncle Karlis, and students/friends having a nice glass of wine/martini, amazing food and yes conversations that are challenging, passionately intense yet heartfelt, and never ending.
