Read MoreI am so sorry to find out that Mrs. Lahiere passed away. She was my kindergarten and first grade teacher in like 1971-1972. I just was reminiscing and came across this sad news. I have always remembered her fondly all these years. I remember her always smiling and she was a very good teacher. My condolences to her family, may she rest in peace.

Many years ago, joe sold us our home. We became friends. Astrid and Joe always joined us at the yearly church diners. They were fine people.
