She was an amazing singer& lady, I had the pleasure to chat with her long ago when she came to Catalina bar& Grill in Hollywood, Ca so heart broken / may her soul Rest In Peace

Astrud Gilberto was the Third World's and one of the world's greatest women and easy-listening singers. She was very great and really relaxing and I really loved her music and songs which is one of the greatest contributions to the entire world because they are very beautiful art and very relaxing and they should be played and performed everywhere in the world!!!!!!

Your rendition of "A girl from Ipanema" with Stan Getz and husband Joao Gilberto is still my favorite of all time. I cherish the LP in my record collection, now in its 50th anniversary ! John Read , Connecticut.
