Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, January 29, 2018 at Assumption Orthodox Church, 2245 East Baldwin Road, Grand Blanc, Father Angelo Maggos officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A Trisagion service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Athanasios was born in Flint, Michigan August 25, 1998, the son of Thomas and Trudy (Greenway) Stergiopoulos. He was a member of Assumption Greek Orthodox Church. He loved his family and friends and will be missed greatly. Surviving are parents, Thomas and Trudy Stergiopoulos; sisters, Samantha and Gabrielle Stergiopoulos; aunt, Betty; uncle, Stephano; niece, Ariana and and grandmother, Yia-Yia. I am so saddened by the news of Tommy's passing. He was such a fun and loving boy when he was at Myers elementary. I kept in touch with him on FB and will forever remember his loving smile.
