Tribute to a Triumphant Soror:
Sleep, beloved Sororr ro you qw aY
We have no tune to charm away sad dreams
That through the eyelids creep
But never doleful dream again
Shall break the happy slumber
He giveth His beloved sleep!
He giveth His beloved sleep!
O, Earth, so full of dreary noises:
O, men with wailing...

I met Attermer at North in 1978. And though I didn't know her well, we did have a lot of mutual friends.

What I remember about her most was her kindness and her smile and her inner and outter beauty. While some kids at that age can be sooo utterly fake, she always seemed so genuine.

When I moved back to Omaha about seven years ago, I remember running in to Regina Hall and as we were catching up, I asked her about Attermer. That's when I learned she had taken ill.

Please accept my deepest sympathies.
