Not sure what to say?

Aubrey was a mentor and a great friend. He had a way of making you strive to get to the next step. His words and his actions always showed how a great company should be run. Greg, my thoughts are with you and your family. Your Dad and Cheddars mean a lot to me.

Dear Debbie and Greg,
Joanna and I are deeply saddened by Aubrey's having crossed the bar far too soon. He was still so young, much younger than the chronological years he enjoyed. And this man of strong, impeccable character with his dynamic sense of humour did enjoy the years given him. He was especially proud of you, Debbie, and you, Greg, just as much as he was of Cheddars. Integrity is a given in people we respect like Aubrey, but what I especially liked about him was his ability to...

My condolences go out to Aubrey's family and friends for their loss. I had the pleasure of speaking with him at various locations during my seven years with the company. I will always remember him as a bright business mind and a sincere human being. It is because of him that all of us in the Cheddar's family are where we are today. Thank you Aubrey and we will miss you!

I met Aubrey for the first time in 1994. The occasion was the wedding of my bother to Deborah Good's sister. I can not remember the topics of the discussions that I had with Aubrey during this time, but I remember very distinctly how mild and soft spoken he was. I never really knew what he did or what his business was, until I read this article. I never would have guessed it. I wish I would have taken more time to get to know him. Life is funny that way. He will be missed.

I have just read Leonard Harlan's message about Aubrey's recent passing.
Even though many years have gone by since 1959, when we all shared the same challenges and satisfactions in Section E at Harvard Business School, and even though I had not the opportunity to meet Aubrey again, I wish to tell Deborah,Greg and Holly, how very sad I feel about the loss of a classmate that I still remember well, but also how deeply moved I was when reading the many testimonies describing Aubrey as a...

Aubrey Good was one of the finest men with a sincere morale character I've had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know. While looking for a job after being laid off, Aubrey was one a very few that made the time to listen and help in my search. He made me feel very special and not bother in requesting his help. You do not find that much these days anymore.

Aubrey will be very much missed by many who respected and loved him as a human being.

I met Aubrey three different times, at openings with my Uncles franchise stores in Kentucky and Tennessee. I liked the concept so much ,that I am now working with them. Aubrey was a true gentleman with a zest for for life and a true love for his business. The business world has lost a Giant in his philosphy of how business should be run.
My prayers go out to the Good family.
