Aubrey V. Guthrie

Aubrey V. Guthrie, 62, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died November 10, 2004, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS, after an extended illness. He was a pipe fitter and supervisor at Reynolds Metals for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and numerous other outdoor activities. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon, Friday, November 12, at Little Flock Cemetery in Burnsville, MS, officiated by Bro. Kara Blackard. The cremains will be interred in Little Flock Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Judy Guthrie of Burnsville, MS; 1 son, Rock Allen Guthrie of Crump, TN; 2 daughters, Elaine Odle of Corinth, MS, and Denean White of Iuka, MS; 1 brother, Aaron Guthrie and wife, Magalene, of Florence, AL; 1 sister, Nell Causey and husband, Bill, of Iuka, MS; 5 grandchildren, Brad, Barron, and Sarah Guthrie, and Abby and Luke White; and 1 great-granddaughter, Greylee Guthrie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Olene Guthrie. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 7320 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231.
