Not sure what to say?

Tess and family, you are all in my thoughts and prayers! I was so sorry to see in the paper that Woody had passed away! My Mom was one of his neighbors and I lived with her as her caregiver before she passed away! Woody was a very nice man!

I worked with Woody at the pawn shop some years ago & we became great friends. I was the only person he allowed to call him "Pops." I loved that precious, rotten man to pieces. He was a character but he was kind & generous. He loved & talked about Jonathan & Tess & how they made him so proud, all the time. He was protective of me & I knew if I ever needed anything he would be there. I hadn't seen him since right after he found out he had Alzheimer's. It broke my heart when he told me.

My condolences to his family, while I think back on my time with Woody. He and I survived high school together, both drafted at the same time in 1965 and both survived basic training at Fort Gordon, Augusta, GA. He, however, was sent to Korea and I wound up in TX. Lots of good memories of my time with Woody and he will be missed. I lost contact with him a few months back and was unable to find a phone number, unfortunately. May God bless his soul.
