Dear Mom,
It has been a year and we will always miss you. But we are doing well and taking good care of dad! I am comforted daily when I think of you and know that you are now at peace. Love, Susie

Jim and Family,
We're sorry that we didn't know about Audrey's death. Her classmate, Jeanne Jameson Dougherty, from the class of '42, SMA, would have attended her funeral had we known. Our deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family.

I work with Missy and over the years I could always tell when a Burt (including Audrey) was calling for her. They are one of the nicest, most sincere and good natured families I have talked to. I did not personally know Audrey, but I do know that she raised some beautiful children.

My beautiful mom was the head coach of the Burt team. She taught us about selflessness , having a good attitude, responsibility , dedication , and many other important values; more by her actions then words. She inspired me every time I was with her. She loved God so much, she loved Dad so much, she loved us so much, and we had millions of laughs and fun times together. Her legacy will continue on in all of us. Thank you to everyone who brought her joy. I am forever grateful and...

I am still thinking of the beautiful funeral Mass we attended for Audrey. The priest was amazing with his stories of Audrey. I had forgotten our Mass card and mailed it the next day. Unfortunately it came back to me. Am sending it to the priest at Holy Name to forward to Jim and family. Jim is my first cousin and he and Audrey are my Godparents. They never missed sending me a gift on my birthday, even though they had their hands full with their own. Our hearts go out to you, Jim and...

Dear Burt family,
I am so sorry to hear about Audrey's passing. Over the past several years,I would run into her and your dad in St. Louis Park and it would always bring back so many great memories of growing up in our neighborhood full of kids. What a special mom you had and wonderful family you have to keep her loving spirit alive.

In my extremely bias view, mom was the best mom to live on the planet. She was a role model for anyone to learn from. She was a pillar in the community and an absolutely selfless person. She raised ten children with her entire life’s focus being on ministering to the needs of husband, her children and their offspring, and those around her. She quickly loved people, had the most attentive and listening ear, and found ways to touch other's lives with God's love. When the last of us ten children...
