Mrs Capone was a gracious, warm and friendly person I was so privileged to have the pleasure of knowing. Though I was only about 13 years old, I met her at the Capone Music Center in Annandale in about 1962, as I was a trumpet student of Mr George Rice. She was always kind, and made me feel so welcome there.
