Audrey Dale Cato was born Sunday, April 28, 1935 to the late John F. Pflueger and Dorothy (Ollie) Duckworth Pflueger near Risco, Missouri.  She departed this life on Friday, January 13, 2023 at the age of 87 years, 8 months, and 15 days.


Audrey was a retired seamstress at H.W. Gossard Garment Factory.  She was also a member of Sunnyvale General Baptist Church and  the Ladies American Legion Auxillary Post #293 both in Malden. 


Audrey was united in marriage to Orville (Tunie) Duck.  He preceded her in death.  She was later married to R.C. Francis (Dick) Cato.  He also preceded her in death.  Also preceding her in death were:  1 son Darrell (Duck) O’Dell; 1 brother J.C., and 4 sisters Louise, Hazel, Ida, and Christine.  


 


Her survivors include:  


Daughter Nita Barker and husband Carl of Campbell.


Son Rick Duck of Malden.


4 Step Daughters Sherry, Kimberly, Karla, and Gina all of Illinois.  


2 grandchildren Joni (Duck) Baum and Robert O. Duck


1 brother Ernest Pflueger and 1 sister Dathel Manning.


 


Visitation will be from 12:30 PM Tuesday, January 17, 2023 until service time at Landess Funeral Home and Crematory in Malden. 


Funeral Services will follow at 2 PM Tuesday, January 17, 2023 in the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with Rev. James Hamlett officiating.  Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.  


Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Malden is assisting the family with arrangements.
