Audrey and I were yambfs (you are my best friend) in Junior High. She says so in my yearbook. We shared lockers in High School. We entered the Hudson Halloween window painting contest (she created, I held the paint.) We visited her sister at college. Audrey could do this cool spitting thing from underneath her tongue. Unfortunately we drifted. I am terribly sad that my old yambf is gone and that I know little about her adult life. She signed my yearbook "RMA" (remember me always) so...

My deepest sympathies to Audrey's family and friends. I just learned of Audrey's passing. As a Hudson High Classmate and OU Journalism Grad, I had the pleasure of speaking with Audrey from time to time. I will always remember her as a very warm and compassionate person.

I just recently learned of Audrey's passing. As a member of the Hudson High School Swing Marching Band and Concert Band during her time there, and I got to know her from our paths crossing in high school and later at Ohio University as journalism majors. But I'll always remember of the first time I met her when she, as a sophomore at Hudson , came up to me, a freshman, in French class, and introduced herself. 28 years after the fact, I remember this clear as day. The fact that our paths...

My heart goes out to the Chapman family during this time of sadness. I met Audrey when she started as an assistant editor at Penton Publishing's Government Product News. She would often swing by my office and whimsically say, "Hey, Dudette," as a feminine take-off of "Hey, Dude."
Audrey was so beautiful--tall and thin, with a warm, wonderful smile--and I would often tell her that she should be a fashion model, instead of a magazine editor. Each time, she would graciously thank me for the...

My heart absolutely broke to hear about Audrey's recent passing. Audrey and I were a part of the Governent Product News group back in the great old days of Penton. I hope that the family can take some comfort in knowing that she now is at peace and is suffering no more.
My sincerest condolences to you all.

I am sharing deep sadness with so many people right now. Audrey was completely loved by so many, and we all felt so loved in return. As I read all these memorials and emails I learn more about her friends and family. I am astonished by just how busy she was kept making us all feel good. I am so glad to have been a part of her Ohio and California circle of friends. I will be forever grateful that I was able to visit Audrey this summer. She stayed strong in spirit and conversation. I do regret...

My sincere sympathy to the Chapman family. Audrey was the smiling, friendly face that got me through many a high school day. Having a teenage daughter and helping her with the struggles of high school often brings back memories of a true and dear friend that unfortunately I lost touch with over the years. Reading about Audrey's adult accomplishments; it is obvious Audrey grew into an amazing woman! I feel blessed to have been able to call her "friend". Heaven has gained a true angel.
