I remember Mrs. Combs as our neighbor, piano teacher and friend. She was always so cheerful and encouraging to me, and I have found memories of playing with Becky and Melanie.

Dear Combs Family,
"Mrs. Combs," as we called her, was the piano teacher to me and my siblings and several friends for years and years. I especially remember having duet lessons with Louise Casada Hillery. Our sincere condolences to to you. We remember Audrey fondly for her support of Dick when he was Chancellor. She was a gracious hostess at the many University events. She is remembered also for her community activities and her love of music.

Aud was an irrepressible force, a boundless source of love and energy. If the measure of a person is the lives touched and made better, she was a giant. May the love that she spread so freely reflect back on Becky, Bob, and her grand and great grand kids in an enveloping wave.

Dear Becky and Audrey's family,
Audrey was a great friend, a fun and spirited colleague in symphony volunteer endeavors, a fine musician and piano teacher, a lover of children, and a role model for many of us who were a generation down. I know she will be missed, but her spirit carries on.
