I met Mother Gomez first with Head Start as Ms. Audrey. I've always admired her wisdom and her sweet spirit. She has been a beautifully consistent woman of God and I am honored and humbled to have known her. My prayers go up for the Gomez family; celebrate her life. You can rest now, Mother. You've more than earned your robe and crown.

Praying for you family. Mother Gomez was a beautiful woman of God inside and out. Her love for the Lord and the people of God was always present. I thank God for the seeds she sowed into my life. Her legacy will live on in her family and some many of us. Take your rest Mother Gomez. You will be missed but never forgotten. We the Worthy family loved you too!

To John and all Family and Friends of Audrey Gomez, We are greatly sorry for this earthly loss. However, we rejoice with you in knowing Audrey is now at peace and rest with our heavenly Father and Savior. We will keep the Gomez family in prayer in the coming weeks and months ahead as you process and mourn the loss of a very special member of God's Kingdom. Sincerely, Dan + Linda Martini

Chairlady Gomez was a jewel to the body of Christ. She knew me before I knew myself. She and my late mother along with 6 other women of Gospel Temple COGIC were in a club called the " Young Matrons" as the grew in life the name changed to the "Silver Foxes". Her kind and generous spirit will be missed by those of us who knew her. May her soul rest at the feet of Jesus. Rest on Audrey Mae.....you've earned this rest.
