Not sure what to say?

I'm so sorry for your loss.
I thought about Ms. Hallett a few months ago, when I was cooking. I was in her class at Hoover High and was sooo terrible at sewing but she taught me how to make a great white sauce. That was 44 years ago and I still think about her.

Dear Family of Mrs. Hallet,

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Hallet's passing. I was one of her students at Hoover (class of '71), and really enjoyed her classes.

To this day I am an avid cook and sewing is a passion of mine, and I thank Mrs. Hallet for inspiring me. Several times, when I've outdone myself in putting on a particularly tasty and visually attractive dinner I've been heard to say "Ah, would you look at that, Mrs. Hallet would be proud"

I don't know if she knew...

Dear Family of Mrs. Hallett,
I am a former student at Hoover High School and was very fortunate to be in Mrs. Hallett's home economics class. I am saddened to hear of her passing but will always have such wonderful memories of her teaching me things that I still use today. I got more out of her class than any of my others in high school. She was one of my favorite teachers. You are so lucky to have had her in your family.

Dear Diane and Sandy
We were saddened by the news that your mom had passed away. Les and I so enjoyed our times with your parents. Les attending classes at State with your dad, studying with him while the movies ran in Coronado, water skiing on Mission Bay,fun times at our cabin at Tahoe, going to Ensenada with them on their boat, and of course the suprise anniversary party you had for them. Such special, loving
friends and always ready for a good time. Love to you.

Dear Diane (& Sandy):
My deepest sympathies to you and the family at Audrey's passing. I recall many wonderful days spent in her (and Hal's and your) company. She had a great sense of humor and hospitality. How wonderful that she was able to grow old with grandchildren and great grandchildren. But how sad that she suffered from Alzheimer's (my mom had senility). With such fond memories of her, Karyn Farr (formerly Freed).
