BECKER RITTER ELMBROOK FUNERAL HOME Obituary

Born May 12, 1927 in Milwaukee. Audrey was born to Eternal Life on November 1, 2015 in Wauwatosa. Preceded in death by parents Mayme (Federspiel) and Charles Shurr, and sister Rosalie. She will be remembered lovingly by sisters Janet (Richard) Murphy, Nancy (Grant) Densing and brother Richard. In addition to her career as an R.N., Aud was especially proud of her volunteer work with Christ Child Society and Ronald McDonald House, An avid gardener, she enjoyed her membership in the Heritage Garden Club. She loved to play bridge, shop, travel, visit her 8 great grandchildren, do arts and crafts, boat on the Chain of Lakes and Rock River, golf, attend the Symphony, take nature walks, go to the Zoo, donate to the Discovery Center and buy her wine by the case. In 1949, Aud married Bob Koepke who preceded her in death. She is survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 children: Robert (Debra), Nancy (Bob) Wagler, James (Sabrina Zickert), Kurt (Sandra), and Tom (Jayne). Granddaughter Sarah has been waiting for her in heaven.

Visitation will be held at Christ King Parish, Milwaukee (2604 N. Swan Blvd.) on Wednesday, November 4 from 11 AM until the time of Memorial Mass at 12 Noon.

Aud, how can it be 4 years? I miss you and think of you so often. Ive got a picture of you and Tom that I found and put up in my little office. We did have fun, didnt we old friend? I send my love up to you.

Our sympathy to the family. We thought very highly of Audrey while we lived in Dixon. She was a wonderful and classy lady and we shared several FUN occasions with her.
