This news has deeply sadden me. I grew up next door. She was always so sweet to me. Later in life, I would watch out for her, picking up her trash cans, making sure she closed her gate or trunk of her car. It seems, I just spoke to her, that day or the day before. She was saddened of My Mothers passing. I hope you are Camping in Heaven Ms Audrey. I will miss you too.

As a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus High School Alumni Board, it was a pleasure working with Mrs. Audrey. She was a lovely lady. We´ll miss her and her `Cajun Brownies´.

My mom, Catherine Gebbia, and Mrs. Audrey went to Sacred Heart together. My mom passed in 2016, but I still would run into Mrs. Audrey on Thursdays at Dorignac´s and we would move over and have our little chats in their produce department! She was such a friendly lady and so kind to me missing my mom and having to take care of my sister now. I´m so sorry for your loss but so glad Mrs. Audrey and me paths as they say crossed!

I was one of Kenny’s classmates at St. John Vianney Prep during the 1964-65 school year. During our class picnic in May 1965 at Bogue Falaya Park in Covington, I was present when Kenny was stricken. On the way home in the early evening, I was one of 3 or 4 classmates who visited him at the St. Tammany Hospital. He was not conscious, but we did not fully realize the seriousness of his condition.
A few days later, our class attended his services at St. Louis King of France. I can scarcely imagine the grief of the family, especially Mom and Dad. Now able to hug their son and each other.
