Audrey Marilyn Lutz

Whether aunt Audrey was in Denver, in Redlands, in a cottage on the beach, or in her house in Carlsbad, she was always the angel whose aura protected, nurtured, and brought joy to the children around her. All of us were thrilled to be with her, to hear her laugh with Yvonne and Jack, Ray and then Bob, and to sing with her amazing Sweet Adeline voice. I am lucky to count myself as a friend of Audrey's through her eldest daughter Lori Miller. As Lori's dear friend and colleague, I've enjoyed being a guest at gatherings over the decades with her family and friends. Audrey's vivid personality cast a magic spell over every occasion where the devotion of her daughters was always a blessing. I shall remember her fondly in song and laughter at parties. She was the very picture of grace and charm, don't you think?

Remembering a great visit Yvonne and I shared with Audrey in Carlsbad in late 2018, when she welcomed almost the whole family to her house around Thanksgiving. With grace, her aura shining, Audrey sang and shared childhood memories with Jack and Yvonne, and everybody had pea soup and ice cream. Thank you for being my aunt, Audrey! I love you!

Heaven has gained another angel in Audrey. She made my father very happy during their marriage, and they undoubtedly celebrated a sweet reunion! What with all of her family, friends, students, yoga buddies and fans, she will be dearly missed. Rest well, Audrey ~ We'll take it from here <3
