Audrey L. Mattocks

WALKERTON-Audrey L. Mattocks, 88, passed away Monday, June 13, 2011 in the Center for Hospice Care, Elkhart, IN. Mrs. Mattocks was born July 21, 1922 in North Liberty, IN to Arbie and Dorothy (Six) Gardner. On August 17, 1945 in South Bend, IN she was married to Glenn A. Mattocks who preceded her in death in 2008. She was also preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and two brothers. Survivors include her children, Thomas (Trudy) Mattocks of Franklin, WI, Cheryl Hughes of Walkerton and Steven (Hannah) Mattocks of California; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who she loved and cherished and sisters, Madeline Aldrich of LaPorte and Juanita (Bill) Bouse of Walkerton. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Cremation will take place. Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Mattocks may be given to The Center for Hospice & Palliative Care, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637. Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel is handling arrangements.
