ST. JOSEPH - Audrey Orr, 104, of Rantoul, died Thursday (Aug. 21, 2025) at Brookstone Estates, Rantoul.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 3 at Freese Funeral Home, 302 E. Grand Ave., St. Joseph. Pastor Sally Swaim will officiate. Burial will be in GAR Cemetery, Homer....

I met Audrey when we worked in the Accounting Division of the University of Illinois. Audrey was a kind-hearted, giving, friendly, wonderful person and friend. For years she hosted an annual Christmas party in her home where she invited all former and current co-workers and I was lucky enough to be a part of that special group of friends. I will miss our phone conversations. Audrey will always have a special place in my heart.
