R.I.P. Mrs. Svenningsen..You were my favorite 6th grade teacher at P.S. 22...You actually were my favorite all around teacher. I never forgot you and I'm 60 yrs old, that's how much of an impact you were on me..My deepest condolences to the family..She was a wonderful teacher and person all around..Fly with the angels Mrs. S....

My deepest condolences. I have fond memories of Miss Pelmas, my fifth grade teacher at PS 22. I believe she was the original chorus teacher, introducing us to our new school song - There's a school along Forest Avenue, and PS 22's its name ..... This was back in the 60s, probably when she was a fairly new teacher.
