The family of Audrey F. Whitstone, 81, of Butler, who passed away March 1, will gather for a time of remembrance surrounded by friends, food and Audrey's works of art on May 9 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at The Butler Art Center, 344 S. Main St., Butler.

Audrey was a long-time good friend and fellow craftsman. I can't count the number of wings I cut out on my jigsaw for her angel creations. She was also my seatmate at the Maridon Asian movie nights. Audrey was always good company and she will be missed.
