So sorry for the passing of your mother, Caryl.

I was named after my Aunt Audrey and she was named after her Aunt Dot (her mother's sister) and I was always told the name Adair came from an oldtime song, "My Sweet Adair." It was recorded in 1948 by Patti Page, but it looks like the original came out in 1915. Aunt Audrey was always Johnny on the spot with a few dollars or a beautiful gift. She loved to entertain her church friends and watch her religious programs on TV. She was a meticulous housekeeper which I'm sure she learned from...

My condolences to the family. Was at her home many times. Even had meals with her and Bill. When she drove by my house, if she saw me, she would turn around and drive in and chat for quite awhile.
