My uncle Gus will be remembered by me for his great smile and wonderful generous nature. I will miss him greatly.

Uncle August was the ultimate example of generosity and kindness. He also had a strong and positive influence in our childhood.
He was our favorite uncle. When he and Aunt Nicla and Stevie and Maria-teresa would visit us in California, it was nothing but a bunch of laughter and fun. I am so sorry for the the loss of Agostino, he was such a good friend especially to my parents. I was in Italy when e pass . He was a good man and he will be missed.

"Big Kahuna" was my nick name for Gus when it seemed impossible to complete a project, guess what, he would do it!! I learned many life skills from him and will miss him dearly.
Remembering holidays at Uncle Gus and Aunt Nicla's house in Bloomingdale were only a few of the wonderful memories that connected our love for Augustino!!
