Not sure what to say?

Aunt Sis, June & Augie,
I so hoped Uncle Gus would be here to celebrate his birthday. After having lost Mother so recently, I do have an idea what you are all feeling. I have found that holding onto all the good memories and remembering all the love and laughter help. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Mrs. Blase,June and Bill, my deepest sympathy for the loss of Gus. He was a very interesting man. Throughout my childhood I have fond memories of his days on the police force, with my father and when he was mayor. June, I was so honored to get to see him again, when we met on Butler Street. I am so happy, for you and Bill, to have your parents at your home, as they grow older. All my best to you and yours.
Always, Skip Remaly

June, Augie, Aunt Viv-

Like our cousin Chip, I also recall wonderful times with Uncle Gus when we were kids. I will always remember all the cousins gathered around him, listening to his stories. Most of all, I remember his laughter, and that makes me smile.

I hope your memories also bring you some comfort. My thoughts are with you in this difficult time.

Love, Linda

To the Blase family.

My husband and brother-in-law worked with Uncle Gus as Washington Woodcrafts. Dave also bowled with him at Warren Lanes. He was a wonderful friend and a great man.
Our sympathy and prayers are with all of you.

Dear Augie and Jill,

My sympathy goes out to you both. I did not know your father, but I know just how hard it is to lose a loved one.
My prayers will be with both of you as you close this chapter in your life. From the dates in the obituary, I can see that your father has lived a long and happy life.
Please extend my condolences to your dear Mother as well.

A long-time friend,

Dear June, Augie, and family -
My sympathies to you over the loss of your father. I have fond memories of how good Uncle Gus was with us kids when we were little. A shame how life gets so hectic and how time passes so quickly. The last time I talked with your Dad was just before he retired from his job at the court house. My love and condolences to Aunt Viv. They had many wonderful years together. Love, Chip

Dear Augie and siblings,
