Not sure what to say?

Gus and Joan owned a building that housed my motorcycle dealership in the 90's. They saw my drive and that I wanted to own that building. I went to their home several times during that time. I still own that building to this day, and am thankful for their kindness toward me.

I attended Rigler elementary from 1976 - 1980.  Mr. Dindia was our principle.  I was in trouble more than once and had some not so pleasant meetings with Mr. Dindia.  He was always stern but fair, and he certainly held me accountable.  I never recognized it as a kid, but he was an incredible leader. The staff and students were fortunate to have him.

Thank you, Grandpa, for all the wonderful memories. I will miss our weekly dinners and hearing his stories. He always ended his stories saying how lucky he was. Surviving the war, stumbling into education, and meeting the love of his life, grandma Joan. I loved that at 99 years old he still called her a babe! We were the lucky ones, to have him in our lives as a strong and caring patriarch and a true example of how to live a life centered on faith, love and family.

Mr.Dindia was my favorite grade school teacher bar none. He was also an outstanding basketball coach for young kids just learning how to play the game - if you had him as a coach, you´ll never forget the cross-over. What a great man - he surely will be missed. Tom Struble Kellogg Grade School Class of 1960

Mr Dindia was my favorite all time teacher. I loved that man. I think of him every so often. He was such a good man and a great teacher. Brian Schumacher Kellogg Grade School Class of 1968

"Mr. Dindia" was a favorite elementary school teacher of my brothers and I at Kellogg Grade School. Kevin Jones, class of 1965, Larry & Terry; class of `66. He was also my favorite basketball coach. He really gave 100% and it was obvious he cared. He was the most inspirational teacher I ever had. There´s a special place for Mr. D. I wish our world had more like him.

Kathy, Carmie, Terry and Johnny (Not to offend but those are the names I know you as) You are in my thoughts. I will always remember your dad as a kind and gentle man. He was the last Evergreen Street parent from our childhood.

My most memorable encounters were at the Dindia house dinner table, were I was invited a few times to eat with and converse with the entire Dindia Family. Gus certainly left a lifetime impression on my soul, as did his wife Joan and their children! My thanks and deepest condolences and prayers for you all...
