Just finally opened Sunday's Butler Eagle and saw the notice of Augie's passing. So tremendously sorry for your loss. He will be fondly remembered for the time we spent in Scouts together.

You do not know me however I learned of your son's death yesterday from my son who welded with him. A mother's pain, is a mother's pain and my heart aches for your family. It makes me extremely sad when a young life is over before it should have been.
