Age 85, of Penn Hills, on Tuesday, June 3, 2014. Beloved husband of Jennie Galluze; respected and loved father of Gary (Elizabeth) Galluze and Gina (Marc) Menniti; grandfather of Oriana Menniti; cherished brother of Annette and the late Joseph Galluze. Friends received at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Thursday 1-8 p.m. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Angels Parish, St. Augustine Church on Friday at 12 Noon. Augie was the co-owner of Aaron Produce in the Strip District, which he truly loved and was an avid card player. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the charity of your choice. Augie's family would like to thank and acknowledge the staff of the Oakland VA for the great care.

What will I miss most about Augie? TOMATOES! Bushels and bushels of tomatoes and Chickey farming them all out. I haven't had a great tomato in months and every time I have one, I think of Augie.
