RIP Augie

Sorry to hear of Augusts passing. August and his brother Christopher lived next to me in Bay View before Christopher drowned. The family moved to their home on M35 and named it Christopher shores. We met again when we attended Holy Name High School. After that I ran into him and his family only once at Elmers Restaurant. Prayers for your loss. He was such a sweet guy.

I went to school with Augie in Escanaba, Michigan. We survived the nuns and brothers and came out of Holy Name High School with a good Catholic education. After graduation in 1968, we all went our separate ways as is normal. But we had the type of class that when you reunited with a former classmate, true friendship was felt anew. Years ago I ran into Augie and his beautiful family in Escanaba. I could tell he was very proud of his wife and children. I was sad to learn of his passing. But I...

So sorry for the families loss. I am glad he was much loved. I went through grade school and high school with him and remember him as funny and kind. Wish I had known him as an adult. Prayers for his soul.

When I was growing up it he was great friends with my dad Carl Pierce jr And I always knew him big Angie And always thought he was one of the toughest guys my dad knew. Im really sorry for your loss but you can rest assured he is in a better place and at piece.

I known augie an corrine for 50 years when I lived in flint ,had lots of fun in the 60s an 70s, watching little Angie an Kristine growing up ,very sorry to lose him ,my sincere blessings to corrine in her journey forward. God be with you.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of meeting August a couple of years ago. I respected his service and sacrifice to this country. He was a very articulate man. He will be missed. He is with the God he loved. We will meet again.

I am so sorry to hear of Augusts passing. I worked at State Farm Insurance way back and he had his insurance with us. He was such a wonderful, nice man. It was a pleasure to know him.

Dear Corrine, August and Kristine,
One of my favorite memories is my son, Dan, coming home from his first day of kindergarten at Holy Rosary very excited because he had a new friend named Augie. He also spent some time at your home.
I am so sorry to read of August's passing. He was friendly, warm and kind.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
