I knew of the Panici family before meeting Augie, crossing paths many times during and after the years in law enforcement. Augie was always so cheerful and humorious as well as a great person to learn from. His conversations were always so enjoyable, even if we had not seen each other for a long time, speaking like we had just talked a few days before. I am thankful to have known Augie. Rest in peace my friend. My deepest codolences to the Panici family.
