I remember Gus when he served on John Carroll University's Public Relations Advisory Committee in the late '60s and early '70s. He always gave wise counsel in his calm, perceptive way. As JCU's PR Director at the time, I could tell Gus was the type of gentleman I should try to emulate.

Gus was a very special gentleman. He was full of kindness and love.

He loved his family above and beyond anything else.

He also loved his country, as he vividly demonstrated by his military service.

He also loved his fellow man, and constantly demonstrated that with ongoing acts of unselfish kindness.

For years he served the people of Lyndhurst with great integrity as a Councilman.

And he was a nationally respected publicist, communicator and community...

Gus was a very special gentleman.

He loved his family above and beyond anything else.

He loved his country.

And he also loved his fellow man and demonstrated that with ongoing acts of kindness.

He served the people of Lyndhurst with great integrity as a Councilman.

And he was a nationally respected publicist and communicator and community relations leader during his exceptional career in GE's Lighting Business at Nela Park.
