Dustie Flynn passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at the age of 83. Born Augusta Evelyn Jorstad to Melvin E. and Dorothy L. Jorstad, Dustie grew up in South St. Paul, Minnesota, and attended the University of Minnesota where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in piano pedagogy....
Read MoreDustie contributed so much to so many over her many years working at the Old Colorado City Library in Colorado Springs. The children she introduced to books and reading will pass the gift on for generations. Many patrons still ask about her, long after she retired in 2008, and will be saddened to hear of the passing of such an extraordinary woman.
