Not sure what to say?

It's been 3 years. I miss your smile and your constant teasing. You were the happiest man I've ever known. You were living your dream and loving it. I wish you were here to know your little great granddaughter. You could have told her all your stories - like the one about the alligator that bit off the tip of your finger. I see some of you in each of your grandchildren. I know you would be as proud of them as I am. We'll always miss you, but you left us with rich memories of you and the love...

I'll always remember your smile.
Wish there were more like you.
Miss you.

Another year has passed since you left us Augie. You left a legacy that will live forever.
We still miss you.

Augie may have passed from this world to the next but his impression here will last for years to come.
We'd all love to hear how Carrol is doing.

Thinking of you always. I miss you so much, but am reminded of you when I'm with Ryan. You would love him. I love you!

The modeling community still misses you AUGIE!!!I am a modeler from TEXAS and I always go back to see your articles !! You will always be the BEST of the BEST!!!! ADIOS AMIGO!!!

You live in my heart, my thoughts, and always in my memories. I strive to be more like you everyday and pray that you know you are my hero. I love you, Grampa.

Two years ago yesterday Augie left us for the Big Modelling Bench in the sky. His craftmanship is missed by many. I would read his magazine articals over and over and always be amazed at what he was able to produce.

You are still missed by many.

The only time I actually met Augie was at the Chicago Hobby Show (RCHTA) in 1998 while working a booth for my employer, Stevens International. Mike Bass introduced me to Augie late in the day on a Friday, and Augie showed me pictures of one of his forthcoming GSL entires while we talked. I remember being impressed by his genuine warmth and friendliness. First impressions are always lasting ones, and I'll always fondly remember Augie for the time he took with me to discuss model cars back...
