Uncle Gus was more like a grandfather than an Uncle to me. I'm sorry I can't be there to share the wonderful stories and memories that he gave us all. He'll always be my "man by the sea". To Irene and rest of family and friends: An outstanding man has left our physical world. I will miss him so much. Gus was the best brother anyone could hope to have. Due to our age difference, after our father died at a young age, Gus took on a fatherly role toward me and was a mentor. Except for my wife, his was my very best friend. I was priveleged to work with him in two businesses he founded. I saw how he was respected and loved by customers, employees and vendors.
