Not sure what to say?

Gus was one of a kind. I was fortunate to be a student of his in dental school. He was a straight shooter with a dry sense of humor. I always enjoyed being in his company. A great educator and a greater person, Gus will be missed.

In addition to being an icon professor he was the ultimate humanitarian. He constantly reminded his residents that we were not in the residency program for self entitlement . If we were there for wealth we were in the wrong program as we were supposed to dedicate ourselves to better health for all of the children that we were privileged to treat. His non self serving priorities will always be in the minds of his residents and for which we will always be grateful.

Received a late message about the life ending of the dearest Dr.C. .He was besides my great teacher, mentor he was also a fatherly figure in this country when I had no family here. I was his student at the Saint Chris He was the best man at my weeding in which only five people were in it. His wedding band was used "symbolically" for my husband to be since we had no money for two bands. He was absolutely the greatest. Just found out about Dr. Chialastri passing. My most sincere sympathy on the death of such an amazing man. As my dentist, he did a fantastic job and always kept our appointment full of surprises, jokes and humor. I will remember him fondly and note the fact that he passed the "Drill" to Dr. Greg who took very good care of me and carried on a few of his father's antics. God bless the family especially Mrs. C, a dear, dear lady. Most sincerely, Joan Sudall
